MetroMint! Hoorah! Hurrah! Again I will reference a previous adventure that Tiki Jr. and I have shared called MetroMinty Fresh.

We left LA oh so many months ago and headed up to San Francisco to a beverage company that produces the wonderfully minty fresh beverage MetroMInt.

Back then there were only 2 flavors of MetroMInt - Peppermint & Spearmint. Tiki Jr. consumed so much of the a fore mentioned mint water that he nearly burst and nearly cost the employee's there to lose a perk - ALL the MetroMint they can drink!

We are pleased to report that the perk still stands though it was a touch and go deal for a while. I believe it was Evan that finally settled the whole issue and no legal proceedings followed.

Our pal Evan contacted Tony a month or so ago and said they had succeeded in attaining a new outlet here in Hawaii at the Foodland Stores.

Evan sent Tony a couple cool t-shirts and an entire case of Tiki Jr.'s favorite beverage. This time we were greeted with two new flavors: LemonMint & OrangeMint!

Tiki Jr. succeeded in drinking 8 of them before we even knew the box was opened. We started pulling empty bottles out of the box. Tiki Jr. just grinned and said "Ain't my breathe minty fresh?"

Tiki Jr. was given a light hearted scolding and we all sampled the new flavors. OrangeMint is our new favorite. Though it doesn't have the punch of its predecessors it goes down cool and nice & smooth.

Tony realized that Evan had asked us to share some with our friends out here and let them know it is more widely available now. We shared some with DC & Yisa at B97 and a few other folks but haven't talked to them to find out their impression.

RG was quite pleased with the Peppermint water!

Ok..ok...Tiki Jr. is being a bit of a pest and wants me to mention his new MetroMint concoction.

The TikiMint

Make a tray of ice using Peppermint MetroMInt.
Grab a very tall glass and pour in as much Peach Schnapps as you feel like drinking. (Those are his exact words)
Add some pineapple juice, coconut milk, a splash of rum and top it with a cherry.

Hmmm...RG & Tiki Jr. enjoyed it immensely. I declined to sample it.
