The Fairiest Of Them All

Hosted by Alicia S.

We came back to Blue Moon with the promise that we would not be put back to work and could spend our time exploring and making new friends.

First I met the Frog Prince who resides in the shop fountain.

We met Aprodite the goddess of love & fertility. I can't tell you what she whispered or I may find myslef on her bad side. You don't wanna do that I understand.

Then I had tea with the Sisters of Blue Moon. Nice ladies but definitely eccentric. One of them just kept hugging me telling me I must come back for tea with them again very soon. Tiki Jr. caused a distraction so that I could finally escape.

After tea I was introduced to the faeries. Each one was lovelier than the last. There was Clara and Ivy who were two of the tallest faeries I had ever met, and then I met her…

Her name is Sybella and she is the most beautiful creature I have ever laid my eyes upon. She sat so gracefully on top of that toadstool and I do believe she was flirting with me too!

I fell in love with her and for a moment considered leaving my traveling days behind and inviting her to come and stay with me forever. Tiki did not seem as impressed with her as I however and suggested that I get a second opinion on the matter, as well as, adding that this seems to be happening every place we visit. Oh my...I hadn't realized that.

So I had a tarot reading, and though it showed the potential for a great love, it also told me that my traveling days were far from over and I had many more adventures in store for me. Sigh... I guess love shall have to wait.

I told Sybella of my reading and she just pouted and flew back to her shelf, saying that if I should ever change my mind to look her up.

At the end of the day when Alicia was packing up to go home I asked her if I might stay in the shop overnight, for I was told by Clara that after the store is closed and the town is dark they hold court and have a huge party with feast and dance that goes on into the wee hours of the morning. She gave me a very knowing smile and told me to have fun and enjoy myself.

Unfortunately I can not divulge to you what exactly goes on after hours at the shop. You know what they say… "What happens at faerie court stays at faerie court" So I have opted to stay behind at the shop for the remainder of my time here, spending my days greeting customers and chatting with the local crew, and my nights in attendance at court.

We have spent almost a full week with Alicia and friends. Today, our last day, I am writing my memoirs taking a few last photos and packing to leave for New Jersey!

Alicia surprised me and Tiki with a very fancy cushioned new traveling box. No more sweaty plastic bubble wraps Huzzaahh!

We left with many hugs, kisses, fond memories and good laughs, with an open invitation to come back whenever we wish. Overall it was a very memorable trip indeed…
