You Sunk My Battleship

Hosted by Alicia S.

Today I met with the colony of gnomes that reside in Alicia's home. We spent the day talking and discussing gnome politics, global warming, world travel, playing battleship (I crushed my adversaries!), watching Labyrinth and drinking mead. It's Honey! It was great spending time with these guys; they sure know how to have fun.

Since we met a relative of ole Roaming Gnome that works for Travelocity this is a great place to make a couple little big announcements:

The first is - RG is coming to Hawaii tentatively in the beginning of August!
RG's on MySpace too.

Tiki Jr. and I are going to make a few more stops and head back to Puna for the first time since we began our adventure. I will then get to formally show RG around Puna and the island of Hawaii.

Since RG has become such a rockstar over the past few years, Travelocity is going to send us a polaroid camera and some special film so we can take pictures with his many fans as we show him around the island.

I hope RG doesn't mind hitchhiking. Hehehe.

The second is that Tony has been contacted by a highly anticipated group of gnomes that will be spreading the message that each of us can help in the cause against global warming. Yep they will be traveling!

Tony has volunteered to be a correspondant reporting information on what Hawaii is doing for the cause. The project is called
Gnome Diaries.

Later on Erik taught me how to play the bagpipes and then how to play Iron Man on the accordion.

Tiki sang along Ronnie James Dio style! I was quite amusing if you can imagine an accordian playing while someone is singing "I am Iron Man..." in Tikinese.
