Our Working Holiday

Hosted by Alicia S.

Grateful that the trip from Oceanside to Patchogue took only one day of travel time, we arrived at Blue Moon Enchantments feeling bright eyed and energetic as we were placed on the counter by a smiling postman giving a grand thumbs up sign.

I do believe he was quite thrilled to be handing us over as we had been entertaining him the whole ride with Tiki's special brand of knock knock chicken jokes:.

(Knock Knock
Who's There?
Cockadoodle.
Cockadoodle Who?
Not cockadoodle who, you silly chicken, cockadoodledoo!)

Tiki Jr. likes to laugh uncontrollably at his own jokes. lol.

Alicia helped us to remove ourselves from our special safety wrapping and discovered we were sent along with a special gift from Su which was greatly appreciated and very much a pleasant surprise!

Hans and Freddy who had visited with Tony in Hawaii were there to greet us as well.

Before we could make our formal introductions to everyone else, a huge brown truck pulled up in front of the door and a very chipper delivery man named Frank rolled a huge cart of giant cardboard boxes inside.

Alicia looked at us and said "Ahh you've arrived just in time to help, well I guess it's time for us to get to work then huh…?" and with that we spent the rest of the day unpacking boxes, pricing items and putting them on the shelves, with a promise that on Monday we could come back and explore all the shiny objects and meet the local Fae Community that makes their home in the store.

We were so tired from working all day we opted to go straight to bed when we got back to Alicia's apartment, as we were informed we had a very busy day ahead of us.
