Kustom Kulture Tats

Hosted by Sue P.

Monday was a work day. We woke up early to a bright and chipper Su working on her computer.

I'm sure you have taken note that she is still wearing the Oscar shirt and sitting on the chair...hehehe.

Su took us to Kustom Kulture Gallery and Tattoo in Baldwin, NY. We helped on the computer overseeing their awesome online store.

Tiki tried to answer the phones but of course with his accent, it was hard. Tiki Jr. thinks New Yawkers tawlk funny. A potential customer asked Tiki Jr. "Does a tattoo hurt?" Tiki Jr. said “Uuuuuuunnnnngghh” and they ran out screaming. Bad Tiki Jr.!

I got a tattoo. I was brave and got it on my hiney from Marvin Silva, one of the next greats in the business. It really only kinda hurts when the needle is touching. Ok Tony...I finally believe you. He's got a couple himself.

No I am not telling you what mine is!

Marvin also plays in a band called Utopia Banished. Very Metal dude, very gentle touch.

After my tattoo I thought about getting a chopper and joining a gang. Sweeettt Bike!

I test drove a wheelchair, too, but Tiki isn’t tall enough to push me, so Su talked me out of the chopper “just in case“. Nice guys, though…

We also met some famous icons in the shop- Bob’s Big Boy and Tiki Elvis. Tiki Jr. was impressed and told him we had met the "REAL" Elvis on our trip to Vegas.

As usual, Tiki met some old school friends and we all chilled together on the couch in the waiting room… Cool shop.

Smells pineapple-y. Like home. *sigh* Huge rats in NY, by the way. Just sayin’…
