Matta...Where?

My Host Is: Heather T.

Next: Frosty the Snow Man

We picked a great time to visit Michigan. It started snowing tonight! We are under an advisory! We may get 5 inches by morning! We are soooo excited! And...and we traveled First Class from SF via Fed Ex! Sweet! (Thanks Metro Mint)

Ok..if you live in Michigan you are probably unimpressed, however, me and Tiki Jr have never seen real snow before. That will make for some fun outdoor pictures tomorrow!!!

After Heather finally got Tiki Jr to settle down, she informed us that the news has been known say they are going to get tons of snow and they get nothing and visa versa. They do the same thing in Hawaii but it's rain instead of snow. Tiki Jr was rather disappointed by the thought that it may not actually snow.

First, Tiki Jr and I checked out David and Irene's lovely pumpkins. They were just carved yesterday. Yup, it's that time of year. It was a most exciting event for them and we missed it. (David, Irene & Glenn are Heather's pride & joy.)

Our gracious host froze her *behind* off sitting on the pavement to take these pictures. Not that she complained, but you'd think she'd be use to that body part freezing thing by now living in Michigan and all.

Welcome Frogs!!! Nothing brings me more joy than their lovely chirpy serenade. In Puna we call them coqui frogs. (Really..people don't like them coquis in Puna.)

Though Heather apologized for the unfortunate dose of Michigan's fun filled weather, we are loving every minute of it. What a brrrr..isk climate change!!! Being the most awesome host that Heather is, she let me borrow a scarf.

Though she insisted on making me try on a girlie one first, I passed that one on to Tiki Jr and was quite insistent that the more masculine scarf was more my style. Brrrr....

I've got business cards!!! Heather printed off 20 business cards for me to drop/distribute through my travels here and with Lacy. They make me feel important, so I wanted to show them off... Hehe. (Good idea! I should probably do similar and send them ahead to his next hosts.)

Boy this weather is making us wanna go inside and get warm. Tiki Jr seemed a little alarmed by the fireplace but I assured him that no wood was harmed in the making of the fire. He seemed to be satisfied with that.

More to come tomorrow!!!
