Overcast in Ohio

My Host Is: Lacy C.

Well we woke up to the smell of coffee! Lacy had already had her coffee and was bouncing off the walls to share some of her cows with us. She is a cow collector, you see, she even has an "I Love Cows" decal on her Durango. To each their own...lol.

Mike didn't get home from work until after everyone was in bed, so we met him in the morning. Precious and Checkers said good morning and we all proceeded to watch the morning news.

We gave up on the news, and took a peek outside for ourselves. Dreary, but wasn't quite raining yet...

It's a good thing Mike has a boat. We may need it to get around if it rains like they say it will. The fields are full of water, Lacy says, they like to dump water out on the roads when they get too full... Captain Bud and First Mate Tiki Jr.

We drove 3 miles up the road to Lyons, OH. Got us a picture by the sign, which makes the town seem bigger than it is.

According to Lacy, Lyons is a firestation, bar and gas station. The Lyons Den is a famous bar/restaurant in the area. People come from Toledo Ohio to eat here. That would be about it.

We stopped by the little park dedicated to the Veterans and troops. Mike is a Navy Vet and served in Desert Storm! We are proud that he posed with us here. Tiki Jr was very impressed by that big gun and wanted to test it out. He was disappointed to find out he couldn't.

Here we are by the memorial wall.. The winds started to pic up so Mike graciously kept ahold of us.

This is the famous Lyon's Den in Lyons, OH. People drive from all over to come here. It was 10 am so we couldn't go in.

Suddenly it started to rain harder and became windy. We took a shot from the car of the ONE stop light in Lyons and the American Oak furniture store. The gas station is to our right, but you can't see it well.. WOW gas is only $2.19!!!! (Currently $2.99 on the island of Hawaii. The gas price psychology is odd. When it hit $3 we all cried in pain. Now it's back to $3 and we are all acting like it's such a great deal. I guess it is better than paying more...once you think that, they got ya.)

And this is the Post Office, we will be seeing you later!! (I should get him some sort of passport for them to stamp...lol)

Since Halloween is right around the corner, Lacy thought it would be neat to dress us up. Hmmmm.... Tiki Jr thought it would be nice to dress up as an Ohio State Buckeye, since that is all the talk and rage around this area. So why not fit in? (I remember all to well. Just to be different I always rooted for the Wolverines...)

On the other hand I was thinking royalty! I was shocked when Lacy put a pink princess drag outfit on me. OMG what was she thinking...

"Well it's royalty Bud.. hahaha. I had to do something dramatic with you!!!" exclaimed Lacy.

Mike & Lacy are off to a party tonight. Left me at home feeling like Cinderella. Her thought was that it would be dangerous for us around a bunch of drunks. Not cause they might break us though. Cause I was looking to cute in my pink princess outfit.
(Hehehe)
