Sand, Sea & Sun

Anaehoomalu Bay in Waikoloa is picture perfect! A nice crescent of sand, palm trees and a generally calm bay for snorkeling.

This bay is close to the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa but is public access with restrooms, showers, parking and even a beach hut offering kayak rental, beverages and sunset sailing tours. The beach hut is operated by
Ocean Sports.

Hans was an instant mini celebrity at the beach. He had picked some fragrant plumerias and was handing them out to the young ladies at the beach. Go Hans!

It had been a busy weekend for Hans. He attended nearly every film he could and had made friends with many of the filmmakers, actors and volunteers in attendance.

I left Hans kicking back on this beach chair for a few hours while I attended a few festival events. Luckily gnomes have a natural resistance to the sun or he'd have been sun burned to a crisp.

When I finally made it back out to the bay I found Hans buried in the sand up to his neck with a smile on his face.

We end Hans & Freddy's visit here. I only hope that he makes it back home to New York without getting into any more scrapes with the USPS.
