then we went to a historic place named Angel Mounds which was the site of an Indian
village hundreds of years ago, and it has a museum there, too. But... it was closed
on Mondays,... and were broke, anyway. Gee, this seems to have been the pattern
for the day. We rounded out our trip by heading to the
East Side of Evansville and checking out The American Patriot building. The American
Patriot is a mining equipment company. That may not sound like a typical place
to visit, but the building is really cool-looking. It almost looks like The White
House! Well, after a full day of going around the city
of Evansville, Tiki Jr and I had to say goodbye to Matt, David, Happy, and all
the new friends we made there. Matt packed us in our shipping box and saw us off,
as we headed to North Carolina to spend the holidays with some of Tony's family! |
